The Advocacy Corner is a space where delegates representing community, advocacy, research, civil society and allies can exchange ideas, network, build solidarity and socialize.
They can meet and network with other conference delegates, participate in a discussion, exchange resources and much more.
This year, the Advocacy Corner at HIVR4P // Virtual will offer a series of pop-up conversations and learning labs designed to help advocates and civil society members dive deeper into the research presented during the conference. The corner will also offer “hallway huddles” with daily debriefs to unpack the news of the day, and breakout rooms to interact with colleagues.
Community, comrades and connection – The HIVR4P // Virtual advocates’ pre-conference
Taking place on Zoom on 26 January, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:30 ET (click here to check the time in your region), the 90-minute Advocates’ Pre-conference helps ensure advocates are poised to get the most possible out of HIVR4P // Virtual. Strategies for navigating the conference, engaging with each other and mobilizing around timely issues will be crowd-sourced and shared during the preconference. It will also feature dedicated time to connect with comrades from across the globe and give us all a chance to check in with each other. All interested HIVR4P // Virtual registrants are welcome to join – from first timers to “old” timers.
Please register now to hold your virtual spot at Community, Comrades and Connection – The HIVR4P // Virtual Advocates’ Pre-conference.
