The HIVR4P conference offers several registration rates based on attendee classification and date of registration. The registration fee includes:
Participation in the conference is limited to those actively interested in HIV prevention-related research, either at the academic, governmental, private sector or community level. The organizing committee of HIVR4P reserves the right to refuse registration to anyone who does not meet this requirement.
To encourage broad participation in the conference, HIVR4P offers a two-tiered fee structure, with reduced registration fees for delegates from middle- or low-income countries (LMIC) (based on the World Bank Classification), as well as for student and post-doc delegates.

The General conference attendee rate is available for participants at the academic, governmental, private sector or community level.
The LMIC registration rate is available to attendees residing and working in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income, lower-middle income and upper-middle income economies. Please see below for a list of countries that qualify for LMIC registration rates for HIVR4P 2018.
The Student/Post-Doc registration rate is available for any person at least 18 years old and currently enrolled full time at an accredited university or college, or anyone engaged in a postdoctoral fellowship. Current proof of enrollment/engagement, such as an official and current student/institution identification, is required to obtain this rate. IDs must be available at all times during the conference.
Registrations to attend HIVR4P 2018 may be cancelled through 24 September 2018 to obtain a refund of the registration fee minus a US$ 100 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 24 September 2018.

If for any reason the conference should be cancelled, HIVR4P will refund the registration fee. The conference is not responsible for the refund of airfare, hotel, or other costs.
If you are unable to attend HIVR4P, you may transfer your registration to another person who meets the conference registration criteria.

For information on obtaining a visa to enter Spain, please visit the HIVR4P 2018 Immigration page. An official Letter of Invitation to obtain a travel visa and authorization to attend the HIVR4P 2018 will be issued ONLY after registration has been completed and full payment received by the Conference Secretariat.
Upon arrival at the conference, please visit the on-site registration desk to receive your conference identification badge. This badge will be required for admission to all conference functions and must be worn at all times during the conference.
As a registered participant of HIVR4P, you agree that the conference or authorized third parties may photograph or record your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words, and may publish or distribute your likeness, image, name, voice, and/or words for promotional and educational purposes in various forms of media, including but not limited to websites, presentations, and marketing materials. Photographs of data, whether displayed on screens, in posters, or elsewhere is not permitted.
The conference organizers cannot accept liability for injuries or losses arising from accidents or other situations during or as a consequence of attending the conference. In addition, the conference secretariat is not liable for presentation cancellations or session delays that are beyond our reasonable control.
Attendees at HIVR4P 2018 who live and work in one of the following countries qualify for low- and middle-income (LMIC) registration rates for the conference. More information about World Bank classifications is available here.
Note: Income classifications are set each year on July 1 by the World Bank.
